Our Pastoral team ensures that those who are sick are visited and helped appropriately.

There is a Food Share scheme in operation. Various church members and friends collect food that would otherwise go to waste from supermarkets, and this is then taken and given to those in need

Children's Church takes place every Sunday during the main service (see Children's work).

TLC@NCC - The Parents and toddler Group usually meets on a Friday morning. (Currently cancelled due to Covid 19)

and every 6 - 8 weeks we have Family Time where the whole church family plus friends from toddler group etc can meet together, enjoy some activities around a theme, with some singing and a story, and have a meal together. (currently cancelled due to Covid 19)

During the Autumn we support Operation Christmas Child, where we put together shoe boxes for children who have nothing in countries of South Africa, Central Asia,  South America and Eastern Europe. During 2019 we were able to send 30 shoe boxes and raised £450 to contribute to the shipping costs and other outreach materials for this project.

See below for 2020 statistics.

In 2020    As a church + friends we have contributed          towards making up 71 shoe boxes. This includes

Donations of £415. Of this £150 was used to buy gifts for the boxes and £265 went towards the transportation costs and the Greatest Journey (children’s teaching course). Thanks to everyone who gave gifts, finances and those who knitted.

Now in 2021 we are encouraging people to start collecting again.

Chat and Craft (curremtly cancelled due to Covid 19)

On the first Wednesday or each month. Come and be creative. Bring your own or use the resources we have.

Steve Woodford is the Worship Co ordinator.  A mix of new and old style songs are sung during this practice and service times.

During the Sunday services we actively encourage children and adults to use the flags and percussion instruments.

Children's Church
We value children who attend the church with their parents/ carers and seek to help them to participate in the Sunday church service. We encourage them to play instruments and wave flags. During the preaching of the word (sometimes earlier), they move out into their own groups where they can learn about faith in a way that is understandable for them.
Small Groups
We believe it is important for everyone to feel they belong and we currently have two bible study groups which meet during the week in homes. One is in Sandown and one in Carisbrooke. It is anticipated that these will expand in the near future. These groups encourage fellowship and allow for prayer and study of the Word of God.
From April 2021 ----4 NEW Life Groups commenced - for social and getting to know you times. Speak to Rev Mark if you would like to be part of a Life Group

Every Tuesday  morning from 10.00am until 11.00am we meet to pray. This is an informal time where we share needs, but also pray for our wider community plus national and sometimes international issues. This sometimes  includes communion.
Prayer also takes place for those who need healing. A person may request to be anointed with oil.
